Glenda Flaim, Managing Principal, Butler Armsden Architects

Glenda is a Managing Principal at Butler Armsden Architects, and a licensed architect in California and Italy. In her 17 years at BAA, she has led numerous projects in San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area, including the Sea Cliff Sculptural, the award winning Valley of the Moon Retreat, and the Portola Valley Courtyard House. Melding modern architecture into a historical context has been a signature of many of her projects. Glenda’s design sensibilities are informed by her youth and education in Italy and her passion for California Modernism that she has developed by living in the Bay Area for over 20 years. In her spare time, she participates in architectural competitions in Italy and the U.S., and enjoys cooking and spending time in her garden. 

Lisa Lindenbaum ’97, Art Advisor, Lindenbaum Art Advisory, Inc.

Lindenbaum Art Advisory provides services to individuals and corporate clients looking to build meaningful art collections. We collaborate with our clients to acquire artwork that suits their aesthetic and conceptual interests and is informed by research and experience in the contemporary art world. Lisa has been working as an advisor for the past eight years and previously at leading contemporary art galleries in San Francisco (Haines Gallery) and New York since 2001.

Seema Krish, Seema Krish

Seema Krish is a textile designer born in Bombay, a place steeped in the old-world ethics of hand-made craftsmanship and extraordinary color. Seema Krish is her San Francisco – based textile studio. Seema creates handmade, luxurious, small-batch textiles, wall coverings and accessories for interiors.

Alicia Cheung Lichtenstein, studioHEIMAT

A native to the Bay Area, Alicia was born and raised in San Jose. She studied Textiles & Clothing, and Economics at the University of California, Davis, before later going on to study Interior Design at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, San Francisco. A textiles-obsessed, travel lover with a great eye, and an enthusiasm for what is possible, Alicia’s vision guides the firm towards its next endeavors.

Jon de la Cruz, DLC-ID

Drawing on his background, travels and 20+ years of experience Jon has an expert ability to draw up custom furnishings with an impeccable eye for vintage furniture and accessories. Since launching his eponymous studio in 2015 his projects have included Protege in Palo Alto, Che Fico and Che Fico Alimentari, Leo’s Oyster Bar and House Beautiful’s Kitchen of the Year in 2017.

Catherine Kwong, Catherine Kwong Designs

Over the course of her career, Catherine has worked on interior design projects all over the world, some of which have been featured in Architectural Digest, Town and Country, and House Beautiful, among others. Catherine holds degrees from Brown University and Parsons School of Design. In 2015, Catherine was named “Designer to Watch” by Architectural Digest.

Sindhu Peruri, Peruri Design Company

Having grown up in India, Sindhu recalls her grandfather, a textile merchant unfurling exquisite hand-loomed sarees blended from silk, cotton, and metallic threads. The vivid colors, bold prints, and ornate gold embroidery inspired her love for design and craftsmanship. As founder of Peruri Design Company, Sindhu approaches design holistically where a home’s architectural elements come together cohesively with it’s interior details to create spaces that have a relationship with their outdoors and are full of warmth, casual elegance and color.
