The Lounge and Gallery

Design Inspiration
The Lounge and Gallery space is meant to accentuate the hidden corners and niches in this area and allow guests a respite from a hectic day.  It also provides a calm and soothing space to enjoy the various art works and sculpture on display.

Highlights
The first painting we selected was the Judith Rothschild from Hackett Mill.  Painted in 1955 and titled ‘Breakfast with a Hedonist’, we love how this cubist style painting pairs with our bathroom. Below this painting is an Art Deco Vellum Top Console, circa: 1925, the iron legs add so much character to this piece.

John Pomp is one of our favorite designers and we are so pleased to show off his Bonham Chair upholstered in deep teal and Clear Band floor lamp.

In one corner of the room we have a Six Panel Art Deco Screen  Circa:  Early 20th Century from C. Mariani that provides a stunning backdrop for the Studio Van Den Akker, Garvey Club Chair and the whimsical lamp from Remains Lighting and Rosie Li.

Green with Envy

Design Inspiration
We were inspired to create a bathroom that despite its function, still delivers the drama. Every room begins with a pilot and for this bathroom we started with the deep green clouds in the wallcovering.  Adding the Twill Ombre tile to the walls above the bathtub created a secondary texture that softens the white in the room and ties in the textured marble floor.

Highlights
Instead of the usual sconce, we decided on the Basa table lamp to light our space, we love how it plays off the geometric shaped mirror and how it complements the finely detailed design of the vessel sink.

The deep green of the Verde Alpi marble on the bathroom vanity along with the organic movement in the wallpaper creates a richly layered space with a sense of calm and luxury.

The ottoman below the sink adds an attractive storage option for the bathroom and provides another way to add texture and soften the lines of the space.
