Exclusive culinary, fashion, and design-driven events inside the San Francisco Decorator Showcase
A new series of intimate experiences brings together celebrated Bay Area talent for a limited-time program inside this year’s Showcase home. This expanded programming includes intimate culinary evenings, retail and lifestyle activations, and design-driven conversations, offering new ways to experience the Showcase beyond traditional visiting hours.
Proceeds from these experiential events will support San Francisco University High School’s Financial Aid Program – furthering Showcase’s mission to expand access to education and ensure a diverse and vibrant student body.

A Private Culinary Evening with Celebrated Chef Dominique Crenn
Saturday, April 25, 2026 • 6–8 PM
Showcase kicks off on night one with a rare and intimate culinary experience with one of the world’s most celebrated chefs. A pioneering force in contemporary cuisine, Dominique Crenn is the chef and owner behind San Francisco’s acclaimed Atelier Crenn – the first U.S. restaurant led by a female chef to earn three Michelin stars – as well as Bar Crenn, both of which have helped shape the Bay Area’s global culinary reputation.
This evening invites a select group of guests to enjoy refined canapés by Crenn and her team within the striking Showcase kitchen, designed by Tineke Triggs Interiors. Thoughtfully conceived as a warm, lived-in gathering space, the kitchen balances refined functionality with layered, tactile materials, creating an environment that feels both elevated and deeply personal.

Private Dinner with Chef Michael Mina
Featuring Bourbon Steak and an Exclusive Overnight Experience with The Westin St. Francis

Hosted within the formal dining room designed by Marsh & Clark, this intimate evening unfolds through a refined prix fixe menu by acclaimed chef Michael Mina, highlighting cuisine from his newly reopened Bourbon Steak in San Francisco’s Union Square. Mina, who will be in attendance as host of the evening, is the award-winning chef and founder of MINA Group, whose celebrated restaurants have helped shape San Francisco’s dining scene for decades. The dinner is set within the Showcase dining room’s richly layered space, reflecting a thoughtful combination of character and craftsmanship – where wood paneling, striking iron details, and a bespoke central table encircled by reclaimed chairs create a sense of depth, intimacy, and presence. Guests may further elevate and extend the experience with an exclusive overnight stay at The Westin St. Francis San Francisco on Union Square, with the evening offering both culinary excellence and inspired design.

An Evening of Fashion & Design with Lauren Harwell Godfrey

This private, trunk show-style evening will feature beloved Bay Area jewelry designer Lauren Harwell Godfrey of Harwell Godfrey Fine Jewelry. Known for her richly layered, globally inspired designs and distinctive use of color, pattern, and symbolism, Godfrey has cultivated a devoted following for pieces that feel both deeply personal and artfully constructed.
The experience includes a curated panel conversation with Godfrey alongside Bay Area creatives exploring the intersection of fashion and interior design. Elevated and purpose-driven, the evening blends craftsmanship, conversation, and community, offering an intimate opportunity to engage with some of the Bay Area’s most compelling creative voices.

In partnership with Levi's® Blue Tab, the Primary Bedroom and Primary Dressing Room designed by Fernando Castellanos introduces a fashion-forward element to the Showcase experience. The Dressing Room is fully outfitted with pieces from the collection, integrating Levi’s® Blue Tab seamlessly into the space, with Castellanos and his team dressed in the collection throughout the run. The partnership times itself with the recent reopening of the Levi’s Plaza Store on Battery Street and leans into its San Francisco heritage. Conceived as a richly layered and stylish environment, the Dressing Room space is defined by tonal reds, sculptural forms, and tactile materials that create a sense of quiet drama and intimacy. Additional design elements include Color Atelier paint, lighting by Cliff Hersh, drapery by Sandra Jordan, and more.
Oso & Me Mother’s Day Sip & Shop
May 6–8, 2026 • 10 AM – 4 PM

In celebration and anticipation of Mother’s Day, Showcase partners with San Francisco-based children’s brand Oso & Me for a multi-day Sip & Shop experience set within the garden designed by Martinelli Design. The garden serves as an ideal backdrop and setting, conceived as a serene, design-forward retreat that blends natural materials, sculptural elements, and layered plantings. Oso & Me, known for its thoughtfully designed pieces and distinctive, artful prints, brings a playful yet elevated perspective to children’s and family dressing. Guests can explore the “Mommy & Me” collection, and participate in family-friendly activities and crafts. 10% of proceeds from sales will benefit San Francisco University High School’s Financial Aid Program. The experience offers an inviting opportunity for parents and children alike to visit together – whether as a daytime outing or an easy after-school stop within the Pacific Heights neighborhood.

Showcase is open Tuesday through Thursday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (last entry at 3 p.m.), Fridays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (last entry at 7 p.m.), and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (last entry at 4 p.m.); the Showcase is closed on Mondays.
